Mental Health Awareness – Free Online Training
To recognise Mental Health Awareness week and support raising awareness of Mental Health, we are delivering a FREE “Mental Health Awareness” online training workshop, hosted by Unmasked Mental Health, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. 

In just one hour, our Training Manager Lynsey Judson will encourage conversation and understanding from a new perspective. 

Objectives:
- An understanding into ‘what is mental health’:

- To provide you with a short definition of the term ‘Mental Health’.
- To offer a brief insight into a story based on Mental Health
- An overview of the signs and symptoms of poor mental health:
- Within this workshop we can discuss some of the signs and symptoms of someone who isn’t in a great place
- We’ll talk about some the more common mental health issues such as overwhelm, burnout, stress, shock & grief
- Unmask the stigma around mental health:
- To help you to be able to have conversations around the subject
- Talk about mental health as a part of life’s challenges
- A healthy dose of self-reflection and building some self-awareness which in turn helps to unmask the stigma for others
Outcomes:
- Understanding Mental Health and what the term means:
- An increased understanding of Mental Health overall
- Being able to spot the signs in others and yourself
- Awareness of the signs and symptoms of poor mental health
- Increased self-awareness and awareness of others
- Taking a step back before judging a situation
- Unmasking the stigma:
- Challenge misconceptions around mental health
- Reduce the stigma of Mental Health
- Having an awareness of empathy, compassion and understanding
