To recognise Mental Health Awareness week and support raising awareness of Mental Health, we are delivering a FREE “Mental Health Awareness” online training workshop, hosted by Unmasked Mental Health, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. 🧠✨
In just one hour, our Training Manager Lynsey Judson will encourage conversation and understanding from a new perspective. 💪💬
Objectives:
- An understanding into ‘what is mental health’:

- To provide you with a short definition of the term ‘Mental Health’.
- To offer a brief insight into a story based on Mental Health
- An overview of the signs and symptoms of poor mental health:
- Within this workshop we can discuss some of the signs and symptoms of someone who isn’t in a great place
- We’ll talk about some the more common mental health issues such as overwhelm, burnout, stress, shock & grief
- Unmask the stigma around mental health:
- To help you to be able to have conversations around the subject
- Talk about mental health as a part of life’s challenges
- A healthy dose of self-reflection and building some self-awareness which in turn helps to unmask the stigma for others
Outcomes:
- Understanding Mental Health and what the term means:
- An increased understanding of Mental Health overall
- Being able to spot the signs in others and yourself
- Awareness of the signs and symptoms of poor mental health
- Increased self-awareness and awareness of others
- Taking a step back before judging a situation
- Unmasking the stigma:
- Challenge misconceptions around mental health
- Reduce the stigma of Mental Health
- Having an awareness of empathy, compassion and understanding
