Knitting is said to be one of the most relaxing and calming activities you can do, it can reduce stress and is good for anxiety. Knitting helps stimulate the brain, to maintain focus, and improve your memory. Knitting in a social setting can also reduce loneliness and isolation.
Whether you are a total newbie and would like to learn how to knit, or you are an experienced knitter who would like to come along to knit in the company of others, everyone is very welcome.
Every Tuesday morning from 10am-1pm in our central Halifax Hub 20-24 Commercial Street, Halifax, HX1 1TA. The workshop is entirely free to attend and all materials, tools and refreshments will be provided. You are also welcome to bring anything you are already working on if you would prefer.
No need to book, just come along.
