September Charity Cycle

Unmasked Mental Health’s Charity Cycle Challenge aims to raise £10,000 for the organisation to enable them to continue providing support to people with poor mental health. During the month of September, individuals and teams can register to contribute to our target of cycling 5000 miles.

While all exercise is good exercise, aerobic exercise can significantly reduce feelings of anxiety and potentially prevent anxiousness from developing into full-blown panic attacks.  Cycling is a social exercise, you can ride with friends, in cycling clubs or just with family members, including children.

The aim of the event is for people to register their interest and commit to trying to cycle a set number of miles.  This can be done individually on your own bikes, at home or at one of our cycle stations which will be in various locations across Calderdale including in our office. You would set up a local giving page connected to our charity and ask people to sponsor you through the local giving page.  We will provide you with all the support you need to get your page up and running and various social media templates if you want to raise funds through your social media platforms.
